i've been all around the world;
my name is millie i've roleplayed for three years my comments are nothing really
i've been a new sensation;
i was named nate river but you can call me near i was born on august 24th and i am eleven i've been known to be anti-social but i am still a genius
but it doesn't really matter in this generation;
near is a frail sort of kid. he is not too active, which gives him little muscle structure, though he is not a heavy eater- so his metabolism is healthy and he is not obese in any way. he is also not one to go outdoors, giving him a pale complexion- like an ivory-white tone. oddly enough, he has white hair as well- which lays tousled on top of his head in a sort of mess. some may argue that near is, in fact, an albino, though some may argue not. it does not help that he chooses to wear white collared shirts and white sweatpants, though.
looking closer, you will find near has green eyes that spring out in contrast to his pale complexion. they are are a brighter sort of green, like a jade stone, that are multi-toned with some silver mixed in. he is a boney child, too, making his clothes look that much more big when he wears the oversized shirts and pants. his arms and legs are somewhat lanky in a way, and his hands would remind you of pianist hands, with long fingers. overall, near is a cute kid, though not considerably handsome.
the sophomore slump is an uphill battle;
he may be anti-social for a kid, but near is certainly not lacking in personality aspects. he is ingeniously creative with his mind, which comes into play when he solves blank puzzles, or uses toys to reenact certain scenes he remembers or wants to act out in his life. he is creative in figuring out ways to solve puzzles or conundrums as well, while others may solve them by default. but near is not only creative, he is one of the closest wammy children to L in intelligence-level. he is very smart, and clever obviously. he seems to follow a similar pattern to L when he has a problem, though one cannot say for sure how similar the two's patterns are, since near has not been faced with what L has in his lifetime.
while near is not so quick to act, he has the motivation behind every move. he is like a chess player, reluctant at times, though when he is sure he moves right in. he likes to be positive before he accuses, and wants all the unbiased facts before he makes am assumption to anything. but, like said before, he is not all that quick to act. this can be good at times, where he won't jump into something dangerous, but it can hold him back at times of need as well. he's reluctant to even hang out with other wammy orphans as well, preferring to solve puzzles instead while the others play and romp around outside. most consider him to be anti-social, and cannot understand why he does not wish to communicate with those his age.
and someone said that ain't my scene;
near was born with the name nate river, though not much is known about his past. he was born form a mother and father, of course, and both were biological and the ones he grew up with. he seemed to have a happy life. but even when he was a mere toddler he enjoyed those tiny puzzles rather than trucks and other toys boys his age would want to get their hands on. he was good at them too, and his parents could not have been any more proud of him. near was only four when tragedy struck the small family. no one was prepared for it, and no one was going to remember it.
near was still only four years old, too young to remember too much. those moments he did remember were fuzzed and blurred by shock and mental pushing away of the event. his parents were both shot, though, when a burglar tried to get at their house. no one knows why near himself was not shot- perhaps it was the fact that not even a cold-blooded murderer could bring himself to kill such a young child, or perhaps he was hidden somewhere and unseen by the robbers themselves. either way, near found his parents dead and thought to go to his neighbors, who were out when the shooting and robbery occurred. they were indeed home when near came to their door, and they called police- and the wammy house. they knew of near's gifted skills and thought he'd be better placed there than any regular orphanage.
'cause they need a new song;
nope.
